Shatta Wale fans donate 1,000 branded exercise books to Accra schools

Members of the Ablekuma Shatta Movement, a fan group dedicated to Ghanaian dancehall star Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., popularly known as Shatta Wale, have supported basic school pupils in Accra with a donation of 1,000 branded exercise books.

The gesture, aimed at promoting education and assisting pupils with learning materials, saw the exercise books designed with the image of the “On God” hitmaker on their covers.

A video circulating on social media captured the branded books being presented as part of the fanbase’s community initiative, highlighting the group’s effort to give back to society while celebrating their favourite artiste.

Shatta Wale, who has built one of Ghana’s largest music fan communities known as the Shatta Movement, has often received strong support from his followers, who engage in various social and charitable activities in his name.

The donation by the Ablekuma Shatta Movement adds to the growing list of fan-driven initiatives using the artiste’s influence to support communities and promote positive causes.
