Serwaa Amihere shares the secret behind her law school success

Media personality Serwaa Amihere, has opened up about the determination and discipline that helped her successfully complete law school, saying a clear goal and unwavering commitment kept her focused throughout the challenging journey.

Speaking about her achievement in an interview, the broadcaster revealed that she entered law school with a firm plan to complete the programme within five years despite already holding a first degree in a different field.

“How did I do it? I think where there is a will, there is a way. There was a goal to go through law school in five years. I count myself very blessed and lucky to have gone through it within the right frame of time because some have done it for many years—not because they are dumb, but sometimes they are unable to study enough and all that. But I have a first degree which is not in law, so the plan was to finish in five years,” she said.

Serwaa Amihere’s remarks highlight the demanding nature of legal education, acknowledging that while some students take longer to complete the programme, it is often due to personal and academic circumstances rather than a lack of intelligence.

The award-winning broadcaster has received widespread admiration in recent months after successfully adding the legal profession to her achievements, becoming an inspiration to many young professionals seeking to pursue further education while building successful careers.

Her story serves as a reminder that with determination, proper planning and consistency, ambitious goals can be achieved regardless of one’s academic or professional background.
