In his last Christmas message as President of Ghana on December 24, 2024, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo conveyed profound gratitude for the privilege of leading his nation.
Speaking to the nation during the holiday festivities, President Akufo-Addo emphasized the significance of his position and his accomplishments during his time in office.
“As I approach the conclusion of my tenure as your president, I want to speak from the heart and say, thank you. Serving as the leader of our beloved country has been the greatest honour of my life,” President Akufo-Addo stated, encapsulating his sentiments about his time in office.
He reflected on the collective achievements under his administration, mentioning, “Together we have achieved remarkable milestones. We have expanded access to education, strengthened the healthcare system, invested in infrastructure, revitalized agriculture, accelerated the industrial transformation of the economy, and worked tirelessly to secure a brighter future for our children.”
The President also acknowledged the recent national elections, congratulated the incoming leadership, and emphasized the importance of peace and democratic principles in Ghana’s political landscape.
