Dancehall artist Samini Dagaati has been honoured as one of the few musicians to be shortlisted in a primary school textbook to be studied by primary pupils.
The news was broken by one Nana Adwoa Samini a huge fan of Samini, the legendary dancehall musician.
Nana Adwoa’s attention was also drawn to Samini’s textbook appearance by his brother who was reportedly happy to see the legendary singer in their class textbook.
Part of the study guidelines in the textbook requires the pupils to dance to a one of Samini’s songs.
Samini was shortlisted among five other legendary musicians and one actress, Grace Omaboe.
Sharing the photos on Instagram, Samini posted that his appearance in the textbook made him smile.
