Ghanaian Afro-dancehall star Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has assured fans attending the 2026 BHIM Festival in London that their safety will be a major priority at the highly anticipated concert.

Speaking to British bloggers and influencers ahead of the event, the award-winning musician said the security arrangements used for his large-scale concerts in Ghana would serve as the benchmark for the London edition.

Stonebwoy pointed to the thousands of people who attend the BHIM Festival in Ghana, including government officials, Members of Parliament and traditional leaders, as evidence of the importance he places on security at his events.

“Yes, security is top-notch. If you’ve been to my festivals in Ghana, 50,000 people troop in, and everything is nice. They chill, they have fun. I’ve got people from the presidency at my shows every time, MPs, high-class kings and queens, and security is top-notch. So we’re going to implement the same quality over here to make sure the people are safe and have a beautiful, enabling environment to enjoy themselves,” he said.

Beyond security, Stonebwoy has promised a major production designed to give his London audience a memorable experience, insisting that he approaches his performances with total commitment.

“We are going to present the music at the highest level of representation, so you know that we’re not taking it for a joke. Some artistes get on stage and they deliver when they have to deliver, but when you see the ones who put in the blood, sweat, tears, and heart, and make sure they beautify the craft, I choose to be one of those. So the people deserve that quality of performance, and that’s what I am going to put up,” he added.

The BHIM Festival, which began as a celebration of Afro-dancehall culture in Ashaiman, has grown into one of Ghana’s notable annual music events. Its 2026 London edition is scheduled for August 15 at the OVO Arena Wembley, where Stonebwoy will headline his first concert at the iconic venue.

The show is also being positioned as a landmark moment for Ghanaian music, with Stonebwoy becoming the first Ghanaian artiste to headline a concert at the venue.

With security, production and the representation of Ghanaian music taking centre stage, the London edition is expected to be one of the biggest international moments in Stonebwoy’s career.
