Nana Akomea, the Chief Executive Officer of the Intercity-State Transport Corporation (Intercity STC), has praised the talent of the award-winning rapper, Sarkodie.
In a recent interview on Starr, Akomea declared Sarkodie as Africa’s premier rapper.
“Sarkodie is the biggest rapper in Africa, I don’t know how that chap does it but it’s magical. I can’t imagine myself going over the rhymes and rhythms,” he eulogised.
When discussing his music preferences and favorite acts, Nana Akomea emphasized that he enjoys a wide range of music, both old and new. He mentioned artists such as Nana Ampadu, Amerado, and the Ga music group Wulomei as some of his favorites.
Nana Akomea, who was recently appointed as a vice chairman of the New Patriotic Party presidential campaign team, highlighted the importance of implementing policies that would ensure fair compensation for Ghanaian artists and entertainers.
He believes that it is crucial for individuals in the entertainment and arts industry to earn a decent living from their talents.
