Sam George donates to Ningo and Prampram Traditional Areas in support of the Homowo festival celebration

The Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram Constituency, who also doubles as the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George had today made presentations to both the Ningo and Prampram Traditional Councils to support the celebration of this year’s Homowo Festivities.

These items presented include sacks of maize, gallons of palm-nut oil, cartons of drinks, and packs of bottled water. As part of the donations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, also made a cash donation to each of the two Traditional Areas.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Prampram Traditional Area, Nene Adebomtenya lll, expressed his appreciation to Hon. Sam George for his annual support towards the celebration of Homowo.

At the Ningo Traditional Area, the items were received on behalf of the council by Nene Djangmah Osroagbo XII, who is the Parliament Chief of the Ningo Traditional Area and also doubles as the President of the Ningo Traditional Council. He also thanked the MP for the immerse roles he has been playing to help sustain the culture and traditions of the people of Ningo Prampram.

The Traditional Leaders expressed their appreciation to the Minister for his interventions in supplying them with water but made a passionate appeal to help find a permanent solution to the menace faced by the people of Ningo Prampram.

Hon. Sam Dzata George assurred the Chiefs of his commitment to making sure water flows frequently in their taps. In the interim, he assured them of supplying ten tankers of water to each of the two traditional areas to help ameliorate the water situation.

In attendance was the DCE of the District, Hon. Raphael Uriel Nartey, Constituency Executives .
