Residents of Moshie Zongo in a suburb of Kumasi city, in the Manhyia North constituency of Ashanti Region, have strongly raised concerns about the deplorable state of the road linking Yannyawoso and Moshie Zongo.
The residents say the dusty state of the stretch has brought about respiratory diseases to those living around the area.
Some drivers who spoke to Oyerepafmonline.com on Saturday expressed concerns that the road has affected their daily sales because they always use it to repair their vehicles.
A section of traders also complained bitterly about the lack of street lights on the route which has apparently paved the way for thieves to invade is their shops and attacking pedestrians every day.
According to them, despite the many calls to the Assemblymember for Moshie Zongo and the Manhyia North MP, the road remains unfixed.
They are therefore calling on the government to as a matter of urgency come to their aid.
