Award-winning Ghanaian musical duo, R2Bees made up of two cousins, Faisal Hakeem, popularly known as Omar Sterling, and Rashid Mugeez, aka Mugeez, has announced the release date for their 4th studio album titled “Back To Basic”.
This comes just a few months after Omar Sterling dropped his latest album dubbed “Same Earth Different World” somewhere in June 2021. The group has already released a new single titled “EBOSO” as they prepare to bless our speakers with their 4th studio album.
Taking to the microblogging platform, Twitter, the duo announced that their next studio album “Back To Basics” will be released on 25 November 2021 ahead of the festive season.
As a reminder, the duo in March 2019 dropped their last album named “Site 15” which made it into the top 10 on the Billboard Chart. The “Site 15” album featured artists like Wizkid, Burna Boy, King Promise, Kwesi Arthur, DarkoVibes, RJZ, Spacely, Humble Dis, Medikal, and B4bonah.
In other news, veteran Highlife musician, Nana Aboagye Dacosta has threatened to file a lawsuit against the Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene, and Captain Planet over their ‘Abodie’ collaboration.
According to the veteran Highlife maestro, the two musicians sampled his ‘Feeling Bam’ for their ‘Abodie’ joint without seeking his permission and for that, he will definitely seek legal actions against them.
Speaking in an interview on Adom FM, Nana Aboagye Dacosta revealed that he noticed the two have sampled his song the very moment he heard the song ‘ Abodie’.
