Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for the Afigya Kwabre South constituency, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, has issued a heartfelt call to Ghanaian politicians, urging them to choose words that foster unity and peace rather than division and violence.
In a message shared via his verified Facebook account, COKA emphasised the power of language in shaping the nation’s future.
He wrote, “Your words shape the future. Let’s promote love, peace, and understanding, rather than hate, propaganda, and violence. May God help us to understand, Amen.”
COKA’s message comes at a critical time as Ghana’s political climate becomes increasingly heated after 2024 general elections.
His comments reflect growing concerns among many citizens and leaders about the rising levels of political tension, misinformation, and inflammatory rhetoric in the country.
