The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has chastised the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo over the unbearable hardship in the country.
According to him the president and his government should be blamed for all the economic challenges.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, the NDC chairman stated that President Akufo-Addo and his ministers are living ostentatious lives hence the severe hardship in the country.
“One of the things this government after going to IMF should have done is to cancel all ostentatious living.
Just yesterday I went to Tamele where I met Bawumia’s convoy, the convoy that we counted over 45 vehicles… what are they doing with these convoys?” he quizzed.
He expressed that the NPP government has failed abysmally in managing the affairs of the country.
He further lamented the size of the NPP government stating that it is too huge and therefore should be reduced.
“If you have economic challenges look at the size of your government, the size of NPP govt is too huge.”
Ofosu Ampofo revealed that President Akufo-Addo has taken Ghanaians for granted hence the blaming of his failures on the Covid-19 and the Ukraine war.
“President Nana Addo has taken Ghanaian for granted; he’s building castles in the air,” Ofosu-Ampofo told Kwesi Parka Willson, host of the show.
