President of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr Kofi Ofosu Nkansah as the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP).
The appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff at the office of the President, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare on Tuesday, 11 January 2021.
The newly appointed NEIP CEO is expected to confirm his acceptance of the appointment within 14 days of receipt of the letter.
Brief background
Mr Nkansah, until his appointment, was the managing director of the Accra Digital Centre.
He became the MD in February 2017.
He replaces John Kumah, who is the Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region and one of two deputy ministers of Finance.
