In a message released on Friday, February 20, the President and his wife, Lordina Mahama, wished the Muslim community a spiritually enriching and blessed Ramadan.
Describing Ramadan as a period for reflection, renewal, and unity, President Mahama encouraged Muslims observing the fast to purify their hearts and deepen their faith.
He highlighted the importance of compassion, generosity, and self-discipline, stressing that the sacred month is not only about abstaining from food and drink but also about showing kindness, particularly to the less privileged.
The President further urged all Ghanaians to use this period to foster peace, love, and national unity.
“From my family, we wish you a spiritually fulfilling and blessed Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak! May Allah accept your worship,” he said.
