President John Dramani Mahama has appointed new leaders for the Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Prisons Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.
Under the new appointments:
- DDGP 3 Patience Baffoe-Bonnie will serve as the head of the Ghana Prisons Service.
- DCFO Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong has been appointed as the head of the Ghana National Fire Service.
- DCI Samuel Basentale Amadu will take over as the Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service.
The appointments were announced on Friday, March 14, shortly after President Mahama swore in COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno as the new Inspector-General of Police.
COP Yohuno replaces IGP George Akuffo-Dampare, who had led the Ghana Police Service since 2021 following his appointment by former President Akufo-Addo.
