President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo officially inaugurated the International Federation of Surveyors Conference, known as FIG Working Week 2024, which is scheduled to take place from Sunday, May 19 to Friday, May 24, 2024.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Your World, Our World: Resilient Environment and Sustainable Resource Management for All.” Alongside the conference, there will be an accompanying exhibition where companies and organizations can showcase their latest technologies, products, and services.
During his speech, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo reassured surveyors worldwide that his government has taken significant steps to enhance land administration in Ghana. He emphasized the importance of streamlining land registration, resolving land disputes, and boosting confidence in land transactions to support Ghana’s economic growth.
