Ghana Police have arrested a Nigerian woman in connection with an early-morning robbery at Spintex in Accra, during which a 35-year-old man was robbed of cash, gold jewellery, and other valuables.
According to the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), COP Lydia Yaako Donkor, the incident occurred in the early hours of September 14, 2025.
“At about 3:25 a.m., suspects broke into the residence and stole gold jewellery, a laptop, wristwatches, handbags, clothing, and cash, including $5,000 and GH¢21,645,” she said.
Police recovered items believed to be left behind by the suspects, including a machete, a metal cutter, and a T-shirt.

The suspect also led investigators to additional hideouts. “At Agbogba, more items belonging to the complainant were retrieved,” COP Donkor said.
