Renowned Ghanaian gospel singer, Piesie Esther has recounted her sad and humble beginning in life.
The renowned and talented musician shared this story in a recent interview on Adom.
According to her she was raised up in a poor home. So most at times her mother will cook food without meat which they have to take with no option.
She disclosed that, poverty ruined them to the extent that, they had to apologise for not doing any wrong.
“Sometimes my mother and I remember our past and cry. I remember that we were preparing a meal sometime back and had no fish to accompany it, we had to eat our food without fish.
Poverty has disgraced us before. Sometimes you feel like you haven’t wronged anyone but you have no option but to apologize for something you haven’t done. I have been there before.”
