The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey who doubles as a legislator for the Ayawaso Central Constituency, has dedicated part of his parliamentary salary to the ailing veteran actor Samuel Adjeteyfio popularly known as T. T of Taxi Driver fame.
The MP’s dedication comes after a call by the Ga Dangme Youth Association, led by their President, Nii Ayaafio Tetteh II in request for financial support for the veteran actor.
Mr. T. T will be receiving One Thousand, Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢1500) as monthly allowance till the MP’s tenure which ends on 7th January 2025.
The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia donated an amount of GH¢ 50,000.00, to the actor which (GHS 30,000.00) will be used to pay his (Mr. T.T) house rent for the next 5 years and GHS 20,000.00 for his upkeep.
Mr. Samuel Adjeteyfio expressed his gratitude to the Regional Minister for the support.
