A well-known phone dealer in Kasoa has been found dead under the Kasoa overpass in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
According to the Municipal office of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the man had complained of severe stomach pains the previous night. His lifeless body was discovered early Tuesday morning.
Authorities say it is not yet clear whether the deceased may have ingested a poisonous substance.
Confirming the incident to Adom News, Awutu Senya East Municipal NADMO Director, Nash Nyande Adams, said the late phone seller was a familiar figure in the area.
“He complained of stomach pains last night, but this morning we found him dead under the overpass,” Mr. Adams recounted.
Police have begun investigations and are yet to release further details on the cause of death.
