Twenty Person Living With Disabilities (PWDs) in the Old Tafo Municipality in the Ashanti Region have recently received a variety of items to assist them in their daily lives.
These items include mattresses, deep freezers, fufu pounding machines, leather goods, laptops, charcoal, car spraying machines, support for containers, Kente cloth, herbal medicine, and cash.
The presentation took place during the 67th Independence Day Celebration hosted by the Old Tafo Municipality at Osei Kyeretwie SHS.
During a brief interview with Oyerepa News, the Municipal Chief Executive of Old Tafo Municipality, Lord Inusah Lansah, encouraged the recipients to make good use of the support provided to them.
He emphasized the importance of using the items to improve their own lives as well as the lives of those who rely on them.
Lord Inusah Lansah explained that the items were funded by the Assembly’s Common Fund and were originally intended to be distributed in 2023.
