The General Superintendent of the Assembly of God Church-Ghana, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong Manso has chastised pastors who take money from their church members before offering them counseling services.
Many pastors in the country openly announce the amount of money to be paid as consultation fees.
But the President of Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council believes, the act is not biblical, adding that, those pastors are thieves.
“There’s nowhere in the Bible which states, pastors should be paid for offering counseling services to church members”. Rev Manson made the claim during the dedication of a newly built Temple of the Kronum Assemblies of God Church, over the weekend.
He however advised Christians especially his church members to be vigilant on those pastors.
