Oyerepa TV’s ‘Help Me Change’ has handed over a one-bedroom, self-contained apartment to 80-year-old Maame Ama Dapaah at Essiam in the Ajumako Enyan of the central region.
The childless old woman previously lived in a hen coop-like home.
A teacher who lives in the same town sent photos of her poor living conditions to the Help Me Change team and the team, subsequently, went to Essiam to see the poor condition of Maame Ama Dapaa.
After her miserable condition was shown on Oyerepa TV, cherish viewers made contributions to help Maame Ama Dapaah get a befitting accommodation.
The cost of the build is over twenty thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 20,000).
Maame Ama Dapaah, however, thanked Oyerepa TV’s “Help Me Change” team for their timely intervention.
“Help Me Change” is a program designed to help the sick, poor, and vulnerable in Ghanaian society. It’s shown on Oyerepa TV every Sunday at 7 p.m.
