This morning, the Oyerepa Breakfast Show (OBS) hosted by Nana Yaw Mensah Joel demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the community by supporting the Technical Unit of the Kumasi Central Prisons (KCP).
The show’s generous donation aims to enhance the prison’s Batik, Tie & Dye Shop, providing inmates with valuable skills and training in the tie & dye business.
The OBS team is dedicated to sourcing additional materials for KCP, enabling the prison to expand its training program and empower more inmates with this valuable skill.
This initiative not only supports the rehabilitation of inmates but also contributes to their economic empowerment upon release.
Special gratitude goes to Nana Ama Ampomah, the Ashanti Regional Women Organizer for the NPP, for her unwavering support to all OBS projects.
Her dedication to the community is truly commendable, and her partnership with OBS is making a tangible difference in the lives of many.
The Oyerepa Breakfast Show’s kindness and commitment to social responsibility serve as a shining example of the positive impact media can have on society.
We look forward to seeing the continued success of this initiative and the positive changes it brings to the lives of the inmates at KCP.
