Security forces have arrested more than 300 individuals in a large-scale joint operation ongoing across the Ahafo Region.
The coordinated exercise, covering communities such as Hwidiem, Kenyasi, Goaso, and Mehame, is aimed at combating crime, maintaining law and order, and enhancing public safety.
Police sources stated that the operation “has been progressing smoothly without any major incidents recorded.”
Initial reports indicated that around 30 individuals had been apprehended at various locations, but the number has since risen to over 300 as the operation intensifies.
Officials added that details, including the profiles of the suspects and the specific offences, will be released in due course as the exercise continues.
