As part of its corporate social responsibility, the Otumfour Osei Tutu 11 Foundation donated educational materials worth 64,505 Ghana Cedis, including 150 KG furniture, 120 Dual Desks for Primary, and painting the school building.
Speaking at the function, the Executive Director of Otumfour Osei Tutu 11 Foundation, Nana Afia Kobi Prempeh, said the Foundation was touched by a media report about the deplorable nature of the school, which needed immediate attention.
The Asante Mampong Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Gabriel Antwi who received the items on behalf of the school and the town, disclosed that the furniture deficit in the municipal is very huge; KG is 1500, primary is 4000, and JHS is 300.
He therefore thanked the foundation for their support.
