A member of the NPP communications team, Perez Nana Agyei, has emphatically stated that the president of Ghana is the only person who can make the NPP “break the eight” in the 2024 elections.
Despite the country’s economic difficulties under the Akuo-Addo-led NPP government, the ruling party is endeavouring to break the 8-year record in the political history of Ghana.
The NPP man stated in an interview with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa Breakfast Time that his achievements as President Akufo-Addo can help the party break the 8.
“The NPP party is talking about breaking the eight. The only person who can break the eight is the President of the Republic of Ghana. The reason for this is that the party will ride on his accomplishment.” He said.
Nana Agyei explained that it doesn’t matter who becomes the party’s flagbearer; their victory as a party in the 2024 elections is dependent on how well the president delivers his promise.
He believes that the current Akufo-Addo administration has delivered well to the Ghanaians.
