Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsiah-Apau, popularly known as Okyeame Kwame, has received widespread praise after making a surprise visit to social media influencer and content creator Asantewaa amid reports that she has been facing health and personal challenges.

In a video shared online on July 19, 2026, the veteran musician was seen purchasing fruits before heading to Asantewaa’s home to offer support and check on her wellbeing.

Okyeame Kwame explained that the visit was inspired by a request from Pretty Lady Sanitary Pads, a brand that collaborates with Asantewaa and wanted to show concern for her during her difficult period.

“I’ve heard that Asantewaa is not feeling well, and it’s been a worry to me. Pretty Lady Sanitary Pads work with her, and they love how she works. Since I’m in Accra, they asked me to buy some fruits and visit her at home to cheer her up. Come with me, let’s go and surprise her,” he said.

Upon reaching her residence, the musician presented the items, spent time with her and sought to understand what she had been going through. He also encouraged her and offered words of support.

The visit has attracted positive reactions from social media users, many of whom applauded Okyeame Kwame for showing compassion and making time to support a fellow creative during a challenging moment.

Known as the Rap Doctor, Okyeame Kwame has over the years been recognised not only for his contributions to Ghanaian music but also for his involvement in social causes and efforts to support others within the entertainment industry.
