Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim, the Member of Parliament for Offinso North, has fulfilled his promise by extending electricity to Akumadan-Cannan, a rural community within his constituency.
The extension of the national grid to Akumadan-Cannan was completed over the weekend.
Speaking to Oyerepa News’ Dominic Duut, the legislator expressed his commitment to ensuring that every community within his constituency is connected to the national grid by 2025.
“I am determined to make sure that every community within my constituency has access to electricity,” he said.
Engineer Tacha, the project contractor, elaborated on the project’s scope and advised residents to make good use of the electricity.
“We are pleased to have completed this project, and we urge the residents to utilize the electricity wisely,” he said.
Residents of Akumadan-Cannan expressed their gratitude to Hon. Ntim for fulfilling his promise.
“We thank Hon. Augustine Ntim for giving us this electricity. We appreciate him a lot.” They said.
