The Offinso North NPP Executives have dismissed claims made by Concerned Members of the party that the DCE is sabotaging the party’s parliamentary candidate, Dr. Alfred Kyei Asamoah.
According to the Executives led by Asantewaa Faustina, the deputy women organizer, these allegations are baseless and aimed at destabilizing the party. They urged NPP supporters and Ghanaians to disregard these claims and work towards a united front.
In a press conference held today, August 9th, 2024, the Offinso North Constituency Executives, led by Madam Asantewaa Faustina, Deputy Woman Organizer, vehemently denied allegations against the District Chief Executive, Hon. Albert Sefa Boapong.
Nana Kofi Boateng, former council of Elder to the New Patriotic Party NPP Offinso North, also expressed frustration with the parliamentary candidate’s actions, stating that they cannot work with someone who does not prioritize peace within the party.
He is pleading with the party Executives to come to Offinso North Constituency so that peace will reign in the constituency.
Polling Station women organizer, Akua Nyarko, stated that during the registration exercise this year, I, Akua Nyarko, greeted our parliamentary candidate Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah at the registration center and was scolded by the parliamentary candidate, Hon. Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, that “You, Akua Nyarko, you are not a member of Off NPP, rather you are working with the NDC delegates. Why should you pretend to be a good person to me? Why are you, Akua Nyarko, even greeting me?” This saddened my heart, said Akua Nyarko.
The NPP party chairman, Mr. Mogma Johnson Nkumjate, was there, but he did not say anything when some delegates started dragging me off from the Polling Station.”
