The Abofour Camp 31 M/A Primary School has made a passionate appeal to the government and stakeholders for immediate infrastructure development to enhance teaching and learning.
Currently, the school operates with only three classroom blocks, accommodating nursery to primary six students. This has forced the merger of classes, creating an unfavorable learning environment.
Furthermore, Junior High School students (JHS 1-3) are compelled to hold classes under trees, exposing them to harsh weather conditions.
School authorities and stakeholders are calling for: Construction of additional classroom blocks
Provision of modern educational facilities and Support for teacher development programs
The school boys’ prefects said, “We don’t have classrooms for effective teaching and learning. When the weather shows any signs of rain, we run to our homes. The same applies when the sun is hot, making it difficult to sit for classes.”
The senior girls’ prefect said, “We don’t have access to ICT learning materials, but we take the same examinations as those in Accra and big cities. We are pleading with authorities to come to our aid.”
The current state hinders effective teaching and learning. The Assistant Headmaster of Abofour Camp 31 M/A Primary School and JHS urged the government and benevolent organizations to come to their aid.
The Abofour Camp 31 M/A Primary School is appealing to authorities and philanthropists to address this pressing need.
