The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the release of the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year, deploying 85,159 graduates from accredited tertiary institutions to various public and private sector organisations across the country.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Authority clarified that the current postings exclude certain categories of personnel—including teachers, nurses, and midwives—whose data are still undergoing verification. Their postings, the statement added, will be released once the validation process is completed.
The NSA explained that the deployment exercise was conducted with rigorous checks and precision, and appealed to the public to appreciate the technical nature of the process. It also cautioned prospective service personnel against dealing with middlemen or fraudulent agents who claim they can influence or alter postings.
According to the statement, all prospective service personnel are required to:
-
Check their postings at gnsa.gov.gh.
-
Print their appointment letters and have them endorsed by their assigned institutions.
-
Book an appointment online for registration and validation.
-
Report to the designated regional registration centre with the endorsed appointment letter and Ghana Card to complete the process.
The regional validation and registration exercise will run from Wednesday, October 29 to Friday, November 21, 2025, while the official start date for national service is scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025.
The Director-General of the NSA, Ruth Dela Seddoh, congratulated all newly posted graduates and urged them to approach their assignments with diligence and patriotism.
“Embrace the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s socio-economic development through dedicated national service,” she encouraged.
The NSA reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent, efficient, and equitable posting process in support of the nation’s development goals.
