NPP remains a better alternative than NDC in every sector – Titus Glover

The National Organiser aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, has stated that the NPP remains a far better alternative to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in terms of development and infrastructure in every sector.

Speaking in a one-on-one interview on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma show, the former Greater Accra Regional Minister said his tenure as Managing Director of VALCO was a clear example of his all-inclusive leadership style.

“When I got there, I told them I am not here for party politics. Let’s put party aside and work together. They all bought into the ideas and we worked together to achieve results. Now go and see VALCO, the politics the NDC is doing there is unfortunate,” he said.

Mr. Titus-Glover noted that Ghanaians are calling for the return of the NPP because of the current economic hardship.

“During President Akufo-Addo’s time, even though the dollar rate was high, people had money in their pockets. It is not like today under the NDC government where people are suffering and there is no money in the system,” he stated.

On education, he said the NPP’s flagship Free Senior High School (SHS) policy was introduced to bring relief to parents, but lamented that its implementation today is facing challenges, leaving students to suffer.

The former Tema East Member of Parliament also decried the state of illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey, stating that the menace has worsened under the current NDC administration compared to the NPP era.

He therefore urged Ghanaians to keep faith with the NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who he said will rescue the country from hardship and put it on a path of prosperity.

He further called on party faithful to put aside all grievances and personal differences and rally solidly behind Dr. Bawumia to secure victory in the 2028 general elections.

Making a case for his candidature, Hon. Titus-Glover, who is leading the National Organiser race with 37.2% according to a recent poll by Global InfoAnalytics, promised to restore discipline and reorganise the party’s structures if elected.

He appealed to delegates to vote massively for him in the upcoming National Executives election slated for October 3rd, assuring that he has the right strategies and work ethic to support Dr. Bawumia to win the 2028 elections.
