Ing. Emmanuel Laryea Odai, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Krowor Constituency in the 2024 general elections, has announced plans to mentor and support the development of 20 civil engineers over the next five years.
According to Ing. Laryea, many people in the community have limited knowledge about civil engineering, and he aims to address this gap by providing opportunities for young engineers to acquire skills and expertise.
Ing. Emmanuel Laryea Odai made this known when he organised free pre-SHS classes for JHS graduates and noted that Nungua, in particular, lacks a sufficient number of civil engineers, and he hopes to change this by sponsoring the education of 20 civil engineers at the university level.
Upon completing their studies, these engineers will return to the community to apply their knowledge and contribute to the development of Nungua. Ing. Laryea believes that this initiative will not only benefit the community but also help to address the shortage of civil engineers in the area.
By investing in the education and training of these engineers, Ing. Laryea aims to empower them to drive development and growth in Nungua, and ultimately, give back to the community.
