Dr. Stephen Amoah, Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso Constituency and Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, commonly known as Sticka, has voiced his disappointment with the behaviour of politicians in the country.
According to Sticka, Ghana is now plagued by lies and deception from both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
During an interview on the Oyerepa Breakfast show, the Nhyiaeso legislator expressed his dissatisfaction with the lies and corruption employed by politicians from both the NDC and NPP in their efforts to shape Ghana.
He explained that this cycle of deceit began with the NDC condemning and spreading falsehoods about the NPP, which in turn retaliated by discrediting the NDC’s achievements, all in an attempt to tarnish each other’s reputation in the eyes of the public.
Sticka emphasized that both parties have failed to acknowledge the positive contributions made by one another, instead resorting to the use of propaganda, lies, and deception.
“We keep on destroying this country with lies and corruption and we are afraid to speak the truth.”
Let’s stop the lies and corruption in this country because very soon there will be a revolution not a revolution of guns but a revolution of the mind of the people because the deception and lies are too much.”
He however made a clarion call on all politicians and political parties in this country to have a change of mind and attitude before the worst thing happens.
