Former Foreign Affairs Minister and a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr Akwasi Osei Agyei has described his own party as unattractive.
According to him, the party became unattractive after the 2020 general elections with some problems that need to be addressed by leadership.
“From the look of things currently, the NPP is no more attractive. I think it’s time to sit up because there was a problem with our last election, which is 2020. We don’t have to hide it again. There is a problem everywhere, from constituency to national level. The party is not strong. I presented reports on that so I know what I’m saying”. Mr Akwasi Osei Agyei said this in an interview with Oyerepa Breakfast Time, hosted by Bismark Brown.
The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejisu- Juaben constituency, speaking to Bismarck Brown, advised party members to come together as one family o be able to fight for the party to gain its stand.
“It’s not compulsory to join a party but you need to comply with the rules and regulations of the party when you make a decision to join. We need to be careful else NPP will fall”, he counselled.
To him, togetherness is the key to solving all the problems in the party and making it strong.
“Let us come together and fight for the party”, he adds.
