The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today, Friday, October 10, 2025, conduct a balloting exercise to determine the order of candidates on the ballot paper for its upcoming presidential primary scheduled for January 31, 2026.

The event will be held at the NPP headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra.

In a statement signed by William Yamoah, Secretary to the Presidential Elections Committee, the party invited all qualified presidential aspirants to take part in the exercise. The statement also congratulated the aspirants for successfully completing the vetting process and requested that they confirm receipt of the invitation.

Five aspirants are expected to participate in the balloting — Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Ken Ohene Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

Today’s exercise represents a key milestone in the NPP’s roadmap toward selecting its flagbearer for the 2026 general elections.
