Member of Parliament for Pru West who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways, Stephen Jalulah has disclosed that the Majority of NPP MPs support Dr Bawumia.
Despite the heavy competition and discussions made into the respective candidates vying for the Flagbearership position of the NPP, some members have tipped Dr Bawumia as the next to lead the incumbent party.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Show Nana Yaw Mensah Joel, the Pru West MP made it known that the majority of NPP members stand for Dr Bawumia because they are of the strong conviction that he is capable.
“We believe that he is a competent person and will be the only person to lead NPP to break the eight” he noted.
However, called on all party members to endorse and join the winning team for the great victory ahead.
“We are telling the NPP fraternity that most of the MPs support Dr Bawumia. We love the man, we can’t hide it again we believe that he is a competent person and will be the only person to lead the NPP,” he added.
He, consequently, cleared the air on the allegations of following and endorsing Dr Bawumia’s candidature just because of money.
“We’re not following Dr Bawumia because of money, it’s just that we are in love with this man.”
Ending the discussion, he predicted that about 90 per cent of the NPP MPs will eventually endorse and throw their full support to Dr Bawumia.
