The Committee in charge of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential primaries slated for November 4th 2023 has called for unity among the supporters of the aspirants.
The spokesperson for the Elections Committee and deputy majority leader Alexander Afenyo Markin has Called on supporters of every aspirant to run a clean campaign devoid of divisive messages to ensure that the party surges to the 2024 elections with a united front.
Addressing the media, after a short meeting with representatives of the 4 aspirants, Mr Afenyo Markins urged the party faithful to see the November exercise as an internal affair and should not do anything to dent the image of the party.
According to him, there is only one NPP and there can only be one leader to lead the elephant to break the eight 8 in the general elections.
On the issue of Alan Kyerematen’s redrawal, he said the committee has received his redrawal in good faith and looking forward to working with him since Alan Kyerematen stated in his letter that he is still a member of the NPP.
