The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a stern warning to its members and the general public regarding a recent incident that occurred at the party’s headquarters at Asylum Down in the Greater Accra region.
The NPP has discovered that an individual named Innocent Paintsil has been involved in fraudulent activities at the party’s office.
Paintsil has been falsely presenting himself as a staff member of the party and has been deceiving party members by soliciting money from them under the pretense of providing financial assistance.
In light of this disturbing revelation, the NPP urges its members and the public to exercise caution and not fall victim to the deceitful tactics employed by this fraudster.

Our attention has been drawn to fraudulent activities being carried out by one Innocent Paintsil, an impersonator who defrauds people by pretending to work at the NPP headquarters.
He uses the phone number 0531809798 and presents himself as a staff who has been tasked to register party members in need of financial assistance and goes ahead to take various sums of money from these unsuspecting members as registration fees.
Whiles this individual has been reported to the appropriate authorities for the necessary actions to be taken, we implore the general public not to be misled by this fraudulent scheme and to avoid communicating in any manner with him or any such persons or group of persons claiming to be conducting any form of registration for the disbursement of funds to members.
