The newly installed Abola Dzaasetse, Nii Okai Awua II, has pledged to enhance the educational system in the Ga community during his tenure.
He aims to build upon the foundation laid by his predecessors and create a more impactful educational fund that will benefit the youth of the Ga state. This initiative is designed to not only provide educational opportunities but also to reduce their involvement in land disputes.
The traditional leader emphasized his commitment to engaging with the youth in his jurisdiction to understand their needs better. He plans to support those who have acquired skills or are seeking employment by offering assistance and guidance.
Speaking at a press conference in Accra, Nii Okai Awua II assured the public that he would spare no effort in improving education in the Ga state.
His dedication to this cause demonstrates his vision for a brighter future for the youth and the community as a whole.
“It is my topmost priority to help the youth of Abola to be somebody in society for them to also help the family”, he quizzes.
In regards to the land dispute, the New Abola Dzaasetse has stated that discussions are currently underway among family heads to resolve all land issues within the Palace, as was done in ancient times.
He explained that the root of the land litigation issues began when the central government began taking on the responsibilities traditionally held by local leaders in managing land matters.
