The National Democratic Congress (NDC), the biggest opposition party in the country today June 10, 2024, is marking 32 years of the formation of the party.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, the party on Monday morning is holding a Flag Raising Ceremony at its headquarters at Adabraka in Accra.

The ceremony is being led by the Presidential running mate for the 2024 general elections, Professor Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia the chairman of the party, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of NDC and others.

In his welcome address, the General Secretary of the NDC, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey urged sympathisers of the great umbrella party to have genuine love for the party.

The former propaganda Secretary of the Party opined that all Akatamansonia should think of how the NDC can become a stronger party. He said the current generation of NDC supporters now places individuals ahead of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) as the mother body that unites all of them.

The General Secretary said it bestowed on the NDC to be united more than ever if they want to capture power from the NPP.

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, alleged that NPP is using incumbency to rig the 2024 general elections.

He emphasized that the NPP has deployed a number of security personnel in some constituencies just to intimidate the populace, especially at Nsoko in the Bono Region. “Interns of governance of the National Democratic Congress as a party always come and clean the mess of NPP.”

The National Chairman assured Ghanaians that NDC is ready to come back and partner masses and rebuild anything that has been destroyed by the Nana Addo, Bawumia-led administration.
