Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming 2024 elections, has come under intense criticism on social media due to a controversial statement he made regarding Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Joining the conversation on development is Professor Kobby Mensah, a political marketing strategist at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).

During a conversation on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, the lecturer asserted that the NPP running mate was incoherent in his address.

“It wasn’t a speech. Would you call this a speech? The kind of things that he said were so incoherent.” He told Kwesi Parker Wilson, host of the show.
