Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of the New Force, has declared his intention to run as an independent candidate in the upcoming presidential elections.
This decision comes after encountering obstacles in the party registration process with the Electoral Commission (EC).
Bediako submitted his party’s application on September 12, 2023, but despite being informed that his provisional certificate was ready on May 30, 2024, the registration process has stalled.
Undeterred, Bediako has chosen to pursue his presidential ambitions as an independent candidate, citing his commitment to the people of Ghana and his unwavering dedication to the nation’s prosperity.
“This fight is personal to me. I have lived the struggles of everyday Ghanaians, and I am determined to bring economic freedom, equity, and empowerment to all,” Bediako emphasized.
By running independently, Bediako aims to overcome the bureaucratic hurdles that have hindered his party’s registration. His movement seeks to unleash Ghana’s mineral and human wealth, transforming the nation and instilling a mindset of democracy, ambition, and entrepreneurship in every Ghanaian.
The New Force leader Kwame Bediako’s decision has been met with enthusiasm from his supporters, who see him as a champion of the people. His unwavering commitment to Ghana’s prosperity has resonated with many, and his independent bid is expected to garner significant support in the upcoming elections.
