Nana Akua Addo Reportedly Assaulted by Husband as Videos Surface Online

Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo has been caught up in a family dispute after multiple videos circulating on social media captured her in a heated confrontation with members of her husband’s family.

Other videos appearing online also purportedly show Nana Akua Addo involved in a physical altercation with her husband, while separate images and clips show her at a health facility with what appear to be injuries.

In one of the widely circulated videos, a man believed to be her brother-in-law is seen exchanging heated words with Nana Akua Addo in the presence of her mother-in-law, husband and child.

During the confrontation, the man allegedly accused her of infidelity and used derogatory language against her.

Nana Akua Addo responded: “The effrontery. Even you that sleep with house girls.”

The man replied: “I love house girls. A prostitute like you, you be sleeping with land guards, you be sleeping with people. You’re mad. You sleep with people; everybody knows.”

Her husband, who was present during the exchange, was heard saying, “Shame on you,” before leaving the room.

The man later claimed he had videos to support his allegations.

The confrontation escalated further when Nana Akua Addo accused him of ambushing and insulting her.

“You ambush me, and you call me ashawo (prostitute), and you don’t even have DNA on your children. All my children are from one father. You fathered a child out of wedlock. Take it from your mother,” she said.

The man responded: “So? I love all my children. I am a man.”

Meanwhile, other videos circulating online purportedly show Nana Akua Addo involved in a physical confrontation with her husband.

Images and videos also show her at a health facility with a swollen lip, blood-stained clothing and visible injuries, although the circumstances surrounding the injuries have not been independently established.

Nana Akua Addo has not publicly issued a formal statement addressing the videos or the allegations.

However, she was reportedly seen in the comments section of one of the posts appealing to a popular TikTok blogger to remove some of the videos from social media, citing the welfare of her children.

Separately, videos purportedly showing her husband being arrested and escorted in handcuffs have also surfaced online, adding to public interest in the incident.

The authenticity and full context of some of the videos remain unclear, and the parties involved have yet to publicly provide a comprehensive account of what led to the reported confrontation.
