Ghanaian socialite Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo, has hit back at a social media user who accused her of hypocrisy after she criticised a viral podcast discussion that encouraged young women to pursue married men.

Efia Odo had earlier condemned the comments made by a group of women during a Joy Prime programme, questioning why such advice would be promoted to young ladies.

Her criticism, however, attracted a backlash from a netizen who accused her of condemning behaviour she allegedly engages in privately.

“Chaley, y’all pure hypocrites. Y’all do this, and just because it ain’t come online, nntti y’all be throwing stones while in a glass house,” she posted.

Efia Odo responded by rejecting the allegation that she engages in sexual relationships for financial gain, insisting that she has legitimate sources of income.

“You fools can’t fathom the thought of a bad bitch like me making my own money without fucking for it. I’m not like the whore of your mother who has to bend on her knees to get 100 cedis,” she added.

The socialite went further to point to her earnings from Snapchat, claiming that the platform alone can generate as much as $10,000 for her in a month.

“Y’all niggas never have proof that I fuck for money, but always claiming I do. My Snapchat alone, I can make up to $10k a month, BULU!” she concluded.

Efia Odo’s response has added another layer to the heated online debate, shifting the conversation from the controversial podcast advice to questions about her own lifestyle and sources of income.
