Kwame Baffoe, Bono Region Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), popularly known as Abronye DC, has severely complained about his impoverished state under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, whom he supported for President.
He reveals that, despite the fact that he gave his all and made some enemies for himself, the President has not been fair to him and has not opened doors to greater prospects.
As a result, he doesn’t really intend to endorse any candidate who has the President’s support because that individual will come to power and forget him, as Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has done to him.
In an interview with Accra-based Hot FM, Abronye said that people who did not believe in the President’s vision were given positions of influence and had their lives changed, while he remained impoverished.
Worryingly, in his bid to defend Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo election Addo’s as President, he courted enemies for himself, and these enemies are the ones calling the shots in the President’s government, explaining his inability to get help.
“Nana Addo cannot tell me who to support. I won’t even listen to him.
People who used to insult him and say he cannot be President are better people than I am since he came to power,” he said.
Adding that “some of these people are now Chief Executives, Deputy Ministers and Ministers and they are not supporting me because of some exchange of words I had with them because of Nana Addo. Whoever will come and tell me Nana Addo says we should vote for this or that I will spit in your face,” he stated.
