Mark Kwesi Arthur widely known as DJ Azonto has controversially said that Nigerian musicians are not better than Ghanaians musically.
In an interview on Property Radio in Cape Coast, he stated that Nigerians are far ahead of Ghanaians when it comes to supporting each other.
“What kind of music have Nigerians been doing better than us that we can’t also do but the only problem is that in Ghana we don’t support our own,” he opined on Showbiz on Property.
He continued “That’s what they do Kore than us but gradually we’re learning and now most artistes support themselves when they organize their events.
“I think that the Nigerians are ahead of us when it comes to supporting each other in the music but we will surely get there someday,” The ‘Fa No Fom’ hitmaker, added.
Meanwhile, Nigerian superstar musician and award-winner, Burna Boy, has been billed to perform at the finals of the 2023 UEFA Champions League in Turkey.
