Veteran Ghanaian actor, comedian, and prominent figure in the Kumawood movie industry, Mr. Beautiful, whose real name is Clement Bonney, has accused a friend who happens to be a Christian of causing his divorce, which has caused his strong dislike for Christians.

During an interview with fellow actress Emelia Brobbey, the actor revealed that it is not true that he has never been married before. According to him, he was once married but later got divorced due to the influence of a friend who is also a Christian.

“The one who caused my divorce is a Christian,” he stated.

Continuing, he made it clear that the actions of that particular person have made him bitter toward Christians. He alleged that Christians are among the biggest hypocrites in the world and added that he currently feels more comfortable around Muslims.

“The religion I hate most is Christianity. They are the fakest people on earth. Some of them, but statistically, I can say 80% of them are fake. I am more comfortable with Muslims than Christians,” he said.

He further stated that many churches are declining and failing in their mission to bring people into the kingdom of God because they contribute to immoral acts in society. He alleged that some song ministers, instrumentalists, and pastors are involved in such acts.

“They will snatch your husband quickly. She will snatch your boyfriend quickly. Churches with choir groups have many problems. Pastors are aware that the problems in the church come from those people, but they cannot solve them because they are also part of the immorality happening,” he said.

Speaking about his ex-wife, Mr. Beautiful praised her for her excellent home management skills. He also clarified that they currently have a very good friendship, although there is no possibility of marriage between them again.

“My wife is my friend now. We are very good friends. We talk, we share jokes, and we laugh. You know her very well. She is a fantastic and very sweet lady. When it comes to home management, I have never met any woman in my life who can manage a home like my ex-wife. We are very good friends, but marriage cannot happen again.”
