MPs, NPP Executives Pick Nomination Forms for Nana B’s First Vice Chairman Bid

Members of Parliament, party executives, stalwarts, and enthusiastic supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) today picked nomination forms for Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, to contest for the party’s National First Vice Chairman position.

The forms were picked during a brief but colorful ceremony held this morning.

In a show of unity, the group sang a chorus: “The NPP needs a ‘Nana B’ spirit at this very critical phase of our national politics.”

According to the group, Nana B has shown great courage and boldness in the face of what they described as “harassment and suppression of free speech by the NDC Government.”

They believe he will be a strong addition to the party’s national leadership as First Vice Chairman during this critical period.

The group appealed to NPP delegates to overwhelmingly endorse Nana B’s bid, stating that his leadership would help put the party in good shape to wrestle power from the NDC in 2028.
