The Kasoa Ofankor Circuit Court has sentenced 25-year-old Kolie Samuel to 14 years imprisonment with hard labour for his involvement in a robbery incident at Millennium City Sector Five.
The suspect was arrested by the Central East Regional Police Command after intensive investigations led to his capture at his hideout in Ngleshie Amamfrom, located within the Ga South Municipality. Kolie Samuel had reportedly robbed a woman, making away with her handbag containing an undisclosed amount of money and an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
During a search, police retrieved the stolen iPhone 16 Pro Max along with several other items in his possession, including a Dell laptop, two Itel mobile phones, an Alcatel mobile phone, a Vodafone WiFi device, two pairs of AirPods, one gold necklace, three wristwatches, a ladies’ purse, and other valuables.
Following thorough investigations, the suspect was arraigned before the Ofankor Circuit Court on July 15, 2025. He pleaded guilty to charges of robbery and causing harm, and was subsequently handed a 14-year prison sentence.
The Central East Regional Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining public safety and ensuring that criminals are brought to justice.
